1. Policy and privacy

Life Cycle Vision is a software company for the construction industry. We offer services for companies through our website. In addition, we process privacy-sensitive information, also known as personal data. In some cases we work together with other organisations or companies in the provision of our services.

We carefully process and secure personal data. We also comply with the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, for example, that we:

clearly state the purposes for which we process personal data. We do this at the time we request your personal data and through this privacy policy;

  • will first request your explicit consent to the processing of your personal data in cases where your consent is required;
  • limit the collection of personal data to only the personal data that is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. We will only request more than is necessary with your explicit permission. In that case, we will explain clearly to you why we are requesting this additional information;
  • do not pass on your details to third parties, unless this is necessary to provide the requested service or if we are legally obliged to do so;
  • when we share your information, we will make arrangements with third parties to ensure, among other things, that it is not used for other purposes;
  • take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, including the requirements of parties processing personal data on our behalf.

2. Use of personal data

You leave certain information behind with us when using our services and website. This could be personal data. We do not always process all the data below. This depends on which services and functionalities you choose to use.

Depending on the services and functionalities you use, we may process the following personal data concerning you:

  • Name, address and city data
  • gender
  • email address
  • position
  • company names and chamber of commerce information
  • company type
  • date of birth
  • user name

  • information that you share with us and/or questions that you ask us and/or reports that you transmit to us

Special personal data

We do not process special personal data such as your BSN and nationality.

Back-up of (personal) data

We make backups of our ICT systems so that we can repair them in the event of a security incident. We are also required to properly secure and restore your personal data. Further information about the cycles of backups can be requested.

We learn from security incidents at other organisations and are aware that such a situation can also happen to us despite our efforts. In the event of a security incident or an ICT system crash, we will restore our data, including your personal data. We will then review all requests for deletion of personal data and ensure that we do not restore personal data that we are not allowed to possess.

3. Transmission to third parties

We will pass on the data you have provided to third parties, if this is necessary for the delivery of the products ordered or the services requested by you.

When we provide your data to a third party, we will ensure, among other things (through an agreement), that your data will not be used for other purposes. We also agree that your data will be deleted once it is no longer needed.

Furthermore, we will not transmit the information you have provided to other parties, unless this is required by law. For example, it is possible for the police to request data from us as part of a fraud investigation. In that case we are legally required to provide your data.

4. Profiling and cookies

We do not use profiling and cookies.

5. Security and storage

We take appropriate security measures to limit the misuse of and unauthorised access to your personal data. We have an information security policy for this. For example, we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is protected and that our security measures are regularly reviewed.

We store the data and we can delete the data on request. An exception to this is data that we have to keep for a longer period of time because the law requires us to do so, such as data for the Tax and Customs Administration.

6. Third-party websites

This statement does not apply to third party websites associated with our website through links. We cannot guarantee that these websites will handle your personal data in a reliable or safe manner. Before using the website in question, always read its privacy policy for more information about the way in which it handles your data.

9. Identification

To prevent abuse, we will ask you to identify yourself by a written or email request. Even if you submit your request by telephone, we will need to be able to identify you on the basis of the information available to us before we can process your request.

When you submit a request for inspection, rectification, modification and/or deletion to us, we will ensure that your request is dealt with within 4 weeks. We will notify you if we are unable to complete it within this period.

10. Data Protection Authority

Naturally, we will gladly assist you if you have any complaints about the processing of your personal data.
